Welcome and thank you for visiting Concernity.com. Our goal is to help your school touch the lives of young people by helping them make good, healthy decisions. Concernity.com was founded on the idea that our schools can be proactive with their students about living healthy lifestyles and can provide their students, parents, and communities with relevant information and a state of the art video and ecard delivery system. Concernity.com shows the community that schools really do care about student well being and are willing to be a proactive voice for healthy living.
Concernity.com also provides parents with a state of the art tool to reach their children about issues that are often difficult to talk about. Studies show that parents’ influence and concern is the number one reason that keeps kids from the dangers of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. We are very excited to impact schools and communities in a way like never before and show that concern and well being for students is a top priority in schools across America.
Todd Rodenbeck has had a passion for helping young people his entire life. For the past 11 years, Todd has taught Special Education to High School students in Pawleys Island, SC where he lives with his wife, 3 year old daughter, and newborn son Benjamin. He and his wife Sarah have over 20 combined years of teaching experience. They have been foster parents, teach Sunday school at their local church, and are very involved in the athletic programs of the seaside community of Pawleys Island.
Todd was inspired to begin a website that offered a tool for schools to truly help their students and tackle issues people find difficult to talk about. The idea of creating a site that helps students think about personal well being and safety has always been a passion for Todd. His experience in the classroom and with schools has helped him develop Concernity.com to be a proactive prevention tool for schools and parents. His hope is to provide schools with the tools and help necessary to show their concern for their students in a way like never before.
